Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, strictly adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses with accuracy, efficiency, and care.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, resolving any delivery issues with a smile.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Handle cash and digital payments accurately, managing daily logs and receipts.
- Manage delivery documentation and ensure proper handling of sensitive items.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License (Commercial Driver's License preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent navigation skills and deep familiarity with the Washington, DC metro area.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
