Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers throughout Virginia Beach and the surrounding Hampton Roads area.
- Load and unload packages efficiently and securely, ensuring items are not damaged during transit.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain necessary signatures upon completion of each route.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle inquiries or complaints professionally.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, parking regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class C) and a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background check and drug screening.
