Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles throughout the Long Beach and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are securely fastened and accounted for.
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial clients in a timely manner.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and GPS navigation routes.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve any delivery issues or complaints.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of the geography of Long Beach, CA.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Must pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check.
- Reliable smartphone with data capabilities for route tracking.
