Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated addresses in Charlotte and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring all items are accounted for and handled with care.
- Verify delivery addresses, obtain customer signatures, and ensure proof of delivery is completed accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone technology.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
