Job Overview
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive their packages safely and on time. You will represent our brand with a positive attitude and professionalism while navigating our local delivery routes.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently from delivery vehicles.
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle on various road types and in diverse weather conditions.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic signatures upon completion of routes.
- Practice safe driving habits at all times to ensure the safety of the public and cargo.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained throughout the shift.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery issues or delays.
Qualifications
- A valid Class E Driver's License (Commercial License is a plus but not required).
- A clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with mobile devices for digital signatures.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
