Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Memphis and Virginia service areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, speed limits, and company driving policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and handling packages with care.
- Manage delivery logs, maintain accurate mileage records, and handle payments/deliveries as required.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and fuel-efficient.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for using handheld delivery devices.
- Must be available for immediate start.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
