Responsibilities
- Deliver Packages: Safely transport packages to residential and commercial locations within the Portland metro area.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly, professional service during every stop, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks on the vehicle and ensure it remains clean and in good working condition.
- Proof of Delivery: Accurately complete delivery logs and electronic proof of delivery (ePOD) systems.
- Route Planning: Follow assigned GPS routes efficiently to maximize delivery time.
- Asset Protection: Secure cargo during transit to prevent damage or loss.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: A valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using handheld delivery devices and GPS navigation systems.
- Reliability: Punctual with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Experience: Previous courier or delivery experience is preferred but not always required.
