Responsibilities
- Transport packages and documents safely and efficiently to designated addresses in Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
- Practice safe driving habits and adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any delivery issues or inquiries.
- Inspect vehicle condition before and after each shift to ensure cleanliness and mechanical readiness.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks as required.
- Accurately log delivery information and maintain digital delivery logs.
- Follow designated routes and manage time effectively to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, Google Maps, and delivery apps.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic English proficiency for clear communication with dispatch and customers.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
