Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in a professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment and techniques to ensure cargo integrity.
- Complete and maintain daily logbooks (ELD) and pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Follow all company safety protocols and federal regulations to ensure a secure delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience (OTR preferred).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
