Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe, defensive, and professional manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload freight accurately, verifying cargo against bills of lading.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients at pickup and delivery locations.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations.
- Uphold the company's reputation for reliability and timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 minor moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.
- U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the United States.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
