Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and driver logs.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Current, valid CDL Class A (or B) license.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check within the last 3 years).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to participate in our paid training program for new drivers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
