Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Manage loading/unloading procedures and verify cargo documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route navigation and time management
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Hazmat regulations (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass comprehensive background check
