Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery trucks to transport freight throughout the San Jose metro area and Northern California.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Manage delivery documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Interact professionally with clients and warehouse personnel at each stop.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screening.
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
