Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks in and around the Seattle metropolitan area.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and secure cargo accurately to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Handle warehouse duties, including paperwork and inventory checks, as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and cargo handling procedures.
- Availability for long-haul or local routes as required by the schedule.
