Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local/regional routes within Texas
- Inspect vehicles and maintain accurate pre/post-trip documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load delivery
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) and route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle readiness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Texas roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work variable hours
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
