Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe and efficient manner across the Charlotte metro area and beyond.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment while adhering to weight restrictions.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and driver logs in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to strict traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
- Physical ability to perform duties such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
