Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure cargo and equipment integrity.
- Load and unload freight using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logbooks (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of highway maps and navigation.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.
