Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles delivering freight throughout Seattle and Puget Sound
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using provided equipment (pallet jacks, forklift certification a plus)
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Operate in compliance with FMCSA regulations and Washington State traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Seattle metro area and Pacific Northwest routes
- Strong work ethic with punctual attendance record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems
- Must be 21+ years of age
