Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods on time-sensitive routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery coordination
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Document delivery receipts and resolve delivery discrepancies promptly
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold professional conduct standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Proven ability to manage time-sensitive delivery schedules
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong attention to safety and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
