Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of hours of service (HOS) in compliance with FMCSA rules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B with appropriate endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically fit to perform the duties of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
