Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Deliver freight to industrial zones, distribution centers, and port facilities
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle specialized cargo including hazardous materials (HAZMAT endorsement preferred)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (MVR)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of California traffic laws and port security procedures
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
