Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in strict accordance with FMCSA and company regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo protection.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route adjustments and delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements (Hazmat/Tanker preferred).
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a professional environment.
- Pass a comprehensive background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong commitment to safety, time management, and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts as needed.
