Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe, efficient, and legal manner, adhering to all FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely, maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean driving record and uphold our high standards of customer service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Follow route maps and adhere to delivery windows to ensure on-time performance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required; CDL Permit holders may be considered for training.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no recent serious violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed.
