Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient delivery scheduling
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery records using electronic logging devices
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Handle hazardous materials training (HAZMAT certification preferred)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Milwaukee metro area and Wisconsin highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Current TWIC card or willingness to obtain
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
