Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver goods to designated locations in North Carolina.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand jacks, ensuring secure placement.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery documentation for legal compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Represent the company professionally while on the road and at loading docks.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License required (Class B with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements is a plus).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must have a valid commercial driver's medical card.
