Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery trucks (Class A or B) in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is road-ready.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Deliver goods to designated drop-off points and obtain necessary signatures.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic paperwork.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current DOT Medical Card (or willingness to obtain).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
