Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial clients on scheduled routes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure a 100% safety record.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
- Utilize GPS technology to navigate efficiently and manage time effectively.
- Update delivery status in the company’s tracking system accurately and in real-time.
- Handle cash and card transactions for drop-offs where applicable.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with standard navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze, etc.).
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as business demands require.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
