Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to designated locations within specified timeframes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve inquiries promptly
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs to fleet management
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and handle exceptions
- Represent SwiftLogistics with professionalism and maintain company vehicle appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class D Driver's License with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and maneuver in tight urban spaces
- Proven experience in last-mile delivery, food, or retail logistics preferred
- Strong knowledge of NYC boroughs and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and communication
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends as required
