Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial locations in the Los Angeles area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are handled with care and placed in the correct order for delivery.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain customer signatures upon successful delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by being professional and courteous during every interaction.
- Report any vehicle issues or delivery delays immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and checking routes.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Strong sense of time management and punctuality.
