Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or B commercial vehicles to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition
- Perform pre-trip inspections, vehicle maintenance checks, and basic troubleshooting
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation while adhering to traffic laws and delivery schedules
- Accurately document deliveries, maintain logs, and handle paperwork for compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and optimize routes
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience with verifiable references
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
