Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and retail items to customers within designated Tampa area routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation through our mobile app
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and resolve delivery issues professionally
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes based on real-time conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery app navigation and communication
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Strong customer service orientation with professional communication skills
- Reliable personal vehicle (or willingness to use company-provided vehicle)
- Background check and drug screen required
