Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Driving: Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Customer Service: Deliver professional, courteous service to all clients while handling packages with care.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in excellent working condition.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery receipts, logs, and other required paperwork.
- Route Planning: Utilize GPS and route planning software to optimize delivery paths and minimize delays.
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as business demands.
- Equipment: Ability to operate handheld scanners and delivery management software.
