Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring packages are handled with care and placed in designated areas.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery upon completion.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and ensure all safety regulations are followed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and handling paperwork.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse clients.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if required.
