Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and food deliveries using optimized routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect vehicles before/daily routes and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to NYC traffic laws and parking regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for urgent delivery requests
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid NY State driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs
- Smartphone proficiency with navigation apps
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle checks
- NYC Commercial Driver's License (Class E) preferred
- Food handling certification a plus
