Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods across New York City and surrounding areas
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and traffic laws
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with NYC area
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and reliability
