Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to designated locations throughout San Jose and surrounding areas
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
- Communicate delivery status and delays through real-time updates
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps
- Background check and drug test clearance required
- Must be available for flexible shifts (early mornings, weekends)
- Basic knowledge of San Jose geography essential
