Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive packages and documents across Chicagoland
- Maintain precise delivery schedules using GPS navigation systems
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and fuel savings
- Accurately document delivery confirmations and exceptions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid US driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (Class C or equivalent) preferred
- Proven experience in package delivery or logistics
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metropolitan area
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
