Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with precision and care
- Deliver goods on time while maintaining excellent customer service
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Maintain clean driving record and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (current, non-suspended)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and HOS rules
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside assistance
- Flexibility for early morning/evening shifts
- Local residency preferred (within 30 miles of Washington, IL)
