Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend delivery routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate driving logs
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional service
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Familiarity with Memphis metro area routes preferred
- Strong safety compliance and defensive driving skills
- Physical ability to climb, lift (up to 50 lbs), and secure loads
