Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries across New York metro area
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols during all transit operations
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-controlled and hazardous materials (with proper endorsements)
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) with occasional overtime
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and delivery regulations
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
