Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries across Michigan and Ohio
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance reports
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or hazardous materials endorsement (where applicable)
- Represent the company professionally with exceptional customer service during client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service compliance
- Strong navigation skills with GPS and route planning expertise
- Pass background check and drug screening
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (will provide training)
