Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes across Nebraska and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks per DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and HOS compliance
- Operate in diverse weather conditions while maintaining on-time performance
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading processes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong navigation skills using GPS and route planning tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility for overnight regional trips (2-3 nights per week)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
