Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes during overnight hours
- Strictly adhere to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and handle exceptions
- Load/unload cargo safely using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and required documentation
- Represent Coastal Transport Solutions with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Proven ability to navigate nighttime driving conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Flexibility to work varying overnight shifts including weekends
