Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/trailers) following DOT regulations and company policies
- Transport goods across designated routes with on-time delivery excellence
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and handle unexpected delays
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of specialized materials when required
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a spotless driving record
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance standards
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Must pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, weekends, and overnight routes as needed
