Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) across NYC metro area and tri-state region
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logging
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of NYC traffic patterns and tri-state roadways
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning/evening shifts and occasional weekends
- Basic navigation and communication technology proficiency
