Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) across designated California routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid California CDL license (Class A or B required)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and communication skills
- Flexibility for varied shifts and overnight travel
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored training program
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
