Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles across Illinois routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with precision and care
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Minimize transit time while ensuring on-time deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Illinois traffic laws and route planning
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
