Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local/regional routes in Jacksonville, FL and Texas
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time delivery
- Represent Swift Logistics professionally with all stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville, FL and Texas geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
