Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, tractor-trailers) within Boston metro area
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate with dispatch and clients in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (Massachusetts required)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Boston-area roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Excellent time management and communication skills
