Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Manage accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with all licensing
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Midwest geography and routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must be available for overnight travel (4-5 days/week)
